SoundJourney.com is an advertising directory. Independent practitioners, teachers, schools, instrument makers, shops, venues, event hosts, and retreat providers create and maintain their own listings. SoundJourney.com does not vet, certify, employ, recommend, or endorse advertisers.
Advertiser accounts and agreement
Anyone who creates an account or submits a listing must be at least 18 years old and have legal authority to act for the person or organization named in the listing. By submitting a listing, the advertiser agrees to these Terms and the Advertiser Guidelines, which form part of these Terms.
Visitor responsibility
Visitors must make their own inquiries and decisions. Check identity, credentials, licenses, insurance, references, safety practices, prices, refund terms, accessibility, and suitability before buying or attending anything. SoundJourney.com does not arrange or take payment for sessions, products, courses, events, travel, accommodation, or venue reservations.
Health and safety
Step-free access and other accessibility information, including wheelchair symbols, are supplied by advertisers. SoundJourney.com does not verify or guarantee these claims. Confirm your specific access needs directly with the venue or event host before booking or attending.
SoundJourney.com does not provide medical, mental-health, diagnostic, or emergency services. Directory content and sound-based practices are not medical advice. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
Outside sites and direct dealings
Listings link to sites and services operated by others. SoundJourney.com does not control their content, security, availability, prices, policies, or conduct. Agreements and disputes between visitors and advertisers remain between those parties.
Service availability and responsibility
SoundJourney.com may change, suspend, or discontinue features and cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, SoundJourney.com is not responsible for losses caused by independent advertisers, visitor decisions, outside sites, or events beyond SoundJourney.com’s reasonable control.

Privacy Policy
Information collected
SoundJourney.com collects account details, profile and listing content, membership choices, event information, messages sent through the site, newsletter choices, support requests, and basic technical information needed for security and site operation. Stripe handles card details; SoundJourney.com does not store full card numbers.
Why it is used
Information is used to create accounts, publish listings, process memberships, operate member tools, deliver private enquiries, respond to support, send required account and billing notices, prevent misuse, and send the newsletter when a person chooses it.
Private visit count
SoundJourney.com keeps a private count of home-page visits. A one-way, daily identifier is used to avoid counting repeated loads from the same browser during one day. The counter does not set an advertising cookie, use third-party analytics, or display individual visitor information.
Who processes it
SoundJourney.com uses service providers to operate the site, including Supabase for accounts and stored site data and Stripe for billing. Providers process information under their own security and privacy terms. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect people, rights, or the service.
Email choices
The newsletter is optional. A member’s account email is still used for verification, security, billing, renewal, and service messages. SoundJourney.com will not sell email addresses or give them to advertisers. Every newsletter will include an unsubscribe method.
Public information
Published profile, event, course, school, business, and venue information is public and may appear in search engines. Do not publish personal or confidential information that should remain private.
Storage, security, and retention
SoundJourney.com uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Records are kept while needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting duties, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse, then deleted or de-identified when practical.
International use
SoundJourney.com serves people in many countries. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where service providers operate. Local privacy rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of personal information.
Children
Accounts and paid listings are for adults. SoundJourney.com does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
