About Bosque Sonoro Retreat Centre

Bosque Sonoro grew from years of hosting small groups in the Monteverde cloud forest. The team designed the pavilion for acoustic practices and keeps group sizes modest so that guests can hear the forest and have room to rest between sessions.

Capacity: 21–40 guests

Guest rooms: 11–20 rooms

Accommodations: Ten guest rooms sleep up to 20 people in twin or double arrangements. Rooms have private bathrooms, screened windows, ceiling fans, and covered walkways to the dining room and pavilion.

Food service: All meals included

Dietary options: Plant-based meals are standard. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and common allergy needs can be discussed before booking.

Gathering and practice spaces: The covered open-air pavilion seats 30 and includes power, adjustable lighting, storage, and a sheltered equipment area. A smaller indoor room seats 10.

Travel and arrival: The centre is reached by mountain road from San José or Liberia. Private and shared airport transfers can be arranged. Guests should allow extra travel time during the rainy season.

Events hosted: Sound retreats, facilitator trainings, meditation groups, nature-based gatherings, small movement programs, and private residential workshops.

Booking and inquiries: Ask about dates with your expected group size, room arrangement, access needs, and preferred airport. The coordinator provides a full group proposal.
